Joanne creates lesson plans and educational articles for numerous educational publishers, consumer magazines, and companies. She has written about many history topics: Thomas Jefferson and the Declaration of Independence, Hammurabi’s Code, Indus Valley civilization, and World War I trench warfare, to name a few. Her writing has been used by public school systems, such as in Houston, Texas, as part of the History Channel Classroom study guides, and by homeschooling publications, such as Learning Through History Magazine.
